Working with layered images

Layers are a way of having multiple images of the same size kept in the same image for easy storage or presentation sequence. All the image layers interact with each other through various blending functions thus creating great effects. Even those users who have not used layers before, but suddenly open them for themselves, no longer stay away from their functionality. By using layers one can make adjustments without changing the data of the layer underneath. Still, when the image is made up of several layers, image editing is not so easy. While some image formats like JPEG, BMP, PNG, and GIF cannot preserve layer information, others like PSP or PSD support layers. The most obvious advantage ImageConverter Plus offers while processing images with layers is the ability to preserve them all and provide individual editing. ImageConverter Plus takes the best of each layer and combines them into a newly created image. Changes introduced within each separate layer will be reflected in new converted images.
