Interpreting microscopy images

Medical data sharing is of vital importance for scientific research, for prevention of duplication of efforts of biological scientists, for the overall development of medical science. Microscopic data is usually hard to interpret due to many obvious factors (really small-sized images need to be converted into something visible). Developers of ImageConverter Plus are happy to announce support for one of the formats from the group of “bio” ones called OME-TIFF. The main purpose of this format is to convert the microscopic data for their further use. This format variation is proprietary of TIFF and supports multi-page layout. The OME-TIFF files received from microscopes can be viewed with ImageConverter Plus and converted into something more recognizable for the purpose of data sharing.
