Gamma correction filter controls the overall brightness of a photo. Photos that are not properly corrected can look either bleached out or too dark. Accurate reproduction of colors also requires some knowledge of gamma. Changing the amount of gamma correction not only influences the brightness, but also the ratios of red to green to blue. ImageConverter Plus has a new “Gamma correction” option. Just choose “gamma” from the list of available options and set the desired term.
