Decide yourself how much image information you want to share with others

Some image files contain so-called IPTC data (IPTC = International Press Telecommunications Council) to help in the use of large image archives. It was developed for press photographers who needed to attach information to images when they were submitting them electronically, but it is useful for all photographers. IPTC fields are capable of storing extensive information about an image, such as captions, keywords, location and copyright, in a standard format. Because the information is stored in the image in a standard way it can be accessed by other IPTC aware applications. Starting from version 8.0 the users of ImageConverter Plus can easily access IPTC data, edit or remove it.
