More practical approach to the IMG image format

The IMG image format is pretty ambiguous. It can be created by various devices and programs. Originally the format was designed by the GEM Paint Program, but most of the time the IMG files will identify the image information from a CD or DVD similar to an ISO file. Since the image format is so diverse, there may be lots of compatibility issues which will require conversion from IMG to other image formats. ImageConverter Plus provides support for the IMG image format and can offer several conversion options. Both formats – IMG and PDF are widely used for archival purposes, but PDF is much more universally recognized, this may be considered the preferred image format for the IMG output conversion. ImageConverter Plus provides numerous opportunities for converting IMG to other image formats. Conversion can take place with reference to a single image file and whole image folders consisting of hundreds if not thousands images.
